Hospital lifts have to carry a stretcher, an attendant and equipment at the same time, which means a deep, narrow cabin and doors wide enough to roll a trolley through without manoeuvring. We build bed and stretcher elevators to those proportions, typically 1000 to 1600 kg with a clear opening of 1200 mm or more.
Ride quality matters more here than anywhere else. Our hospital installations use VVVF gearless drives tuned for gradual acceleration and accurate levelling, so a patient on a trolley is not jolted at the start or end of a trip.
